Causes phone to burn up and freeze repeatedly

I used last years app -- it wasnt spectacular, but it worked and helped me stay up with my fantasy team when I couldnt access the more functional web site.

But, you have to buy a new app for each season. I paid my $2 a couple of days ago. My phone promptly began to heat up (draining the battery) and also freeze up for 15 seconds at a time even when the app was only in the background.

I finally figured out that the app was probably causing those issues and uninstalled it. Voila! No more issues.

Apple should never have approved this app. Clearly their testing standards have been lowered. Avoiding issues like this is one of the main reasons to choose iPhone over the Wild West of the Google Play store.
